Dear LIB readers, I am MAXIMUS ™ I am of mixed parentage (German Nigerian). My husband is mixed as well (Russian Nigerian). My hubby HATES being Nigerian! When people ask him where his ‘Black’ is from, he denies being Nigerian; He claims being African American or West Indies. When we had our first baby, she was white as hell! She had no single trace of black in her. I was very unhappy while my husband on the other hand, seemed quite happy that God was gradually wiping away all the Naija from his blood line. He kept talking about how his kids will never marry Nigerians ‘cos we have a very bad reputation world over especially in America where we live. Daniel went to the hostel to see a female friend when he was attacked by some guys who shot him point blank in the face. Daniel died instantly. Students of the school and friends of Daniel who sent me this story said he had just 20 days left in school before graduation. He was supposed to start his final paper next week Monday. The reason why he was killed is still unknown as friends say Daniel wasn't a cultist; he was just a popular good looking rich kid. His parents and the police have been informed about his murder. So sad. RIP, Daniel! Oh dear! :-) Why do people believe such stories? I don't! But some of you might, so decided to share..:-). According to a LIB reader who took the photo and sent the story in; around 4am this morning, a woman (pictured above) supposedly fell from the sky in front of a house that was doing all night prayer. The house is behind Redeemed Christian Church of God, Eagle Island, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. They said after she fell, she started crying and speaking a language nobody could understand. Usually with stories like this we hear of mob action. But nobody tried to beat this woman. People were too scared to go near her. Halleluyah for that! Some of you remember that 11 year old boy that was set ablaze some years back in Surulere, after some people claimed he fell from the sky? Fashola arrested quite a number of people for his murder, but were all later released. Why do some people believe such stories? Do you? Are there really flying witches at night? Would like to know if this is appropriate(right). Why will you ask your wife to get an abortion? And women would you go ahead with it if you are asked? Posted by Linda Ikeji at 8:08 PM 193 comments Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to Facebook How can anyone do this to a child?

I really battled with myself whether to put this up or not. I've had the photos for a while but it just didn't seem right at first...but someone around me now said it's information and should be passed on. If some of you find it offensive, then I will take it down.

A few weeks back, some people (one of them a LIB reader who sent in the story and photos) saw this beautiful baby stone dead dumped at the canal before UNILAG maingate, at Abule Oja. They alerted the social workers at the Family Welfare Centre at Birrel Sabo, who came immediately and removed the baby from the canal. The LIB reader took some photos and sent to me...he said seeing that dead baby in that canal was the worst thing he had ever seen...and was in shock for days.

It's the saddest thing to see really. A child! Whoever did this, how dare you? Even if the child died at home or something, why not a proper burial? Incredibly sad. If you have stomach to, then see the beautiful baby after the cut...
